Public Transportation

We want to increase the use of public transportation in the Village. We hope to make bus stops more comfortable by advocating for shelters. We also support the use of commuter shuttle service to and form the trains, and discussions of an Inter-Village shuttle/trolley. These ideas need community support. Get in touch if you want to volunteer!

Bee-line buses

The County recently added 78 electric buses to its fleet. To get timetables and maps, check out the Bee-Lie website here.

Commuter shuttle

The Dobbs Ferry commuter shuttle is temporarily on hiatus but should be back by February 2019. The shuttle picks up commuters from six evening trains. Stay tuned for the schedule!

Inter-Village Trolley

Did you catch the Holiday Trolley sponsored by the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce on December 1st? Fun idea, and a great way to support local businesses in the holiday season. The development of a trolley/shuttle service is part of Dobbs Ferry’s 2010 Vision Plan. What would it take to make it a reality? Get in touch with your ideas!
